This changes how future contributions are allocated. It does not rebalance or sell your existing holdings. Start after completing retirement enrollment.

Choose an allocation

  1. Open Retirement Benefits → Settings.
  2. In the investment-strategy section, select Change strategy.
  3. Review the available strategies and their fund allocations. Use the fund information controls to read available fund documents.
  4. Select a strategy, or use the custom-allocation option to enter percentages across available funds.
  5. For a custom allocation, make sure the total is 100%. Then select Review changes.
An allocation is the split of future contributions between funds. For example, 60% and 40% total 100%; the example is arithmetic, not a recommendation for particular funds.

Confirm the change

  1. On Confirm strategy change, compare Current strategy, New strategy, and the allocation comparison.
  2. Use Back or Back to selection if you need to change your selection.
  3. Select Confirm change when ready.
  4. Check the success message and Target Allocation in Portfolio.
Available Strategy Changes in History show the previous and new allocations. Fund Holdings may still show a different mix because existing holdings are not rebalanced by this action.

If you cannot continue

Check that you selected a strategy or that your custom percentages total 100%. If a fund or strategy you expected is unavailable, ask your plan administrator about the available choices. Unavailable performance information is not a zero return. Read any information shown for that fund or ask for clarification. If saving fails, read the error and check your current allocation before retrying. Contact support for a technical problem.
