Company owners and admins can set up a plan when Deferred Compensation is available to their company. If it is missing, contact support to check company access. Have your company’s agreed plan terms ready. Use those terms for eligibility, worker categories, allocations, and award values.

Complete the plan setup

  1. In your company’s employer view, open Module Store. Find Deferred Compensation and select Enroll or Continue Enrollment.
  2. Complete Company Details.
  3. In Plan basics, enter the plan name, annual intake date, and award denomination. Complete the additional value and label fields shown for your chosen denomination.
  4. In Worker categories, add the categories and policies that apply to your plan.
  5. In Pool split, review how the pool is allocated across categories and participants.
  6. In Eligibility timing, choose when eligible employees begin participating, using your agreed plan rules.
  7. Open Review & activate. Check the plan details and any country coverage selection shown.
Use the on-screen controls to save each step and continue. When you return to an unfinished setup, check the saved values before proceeding.

Check names and values carefully

Your plan name appears in product navigation after setup. For value-linked awards, the unit and value-driver labels also come from your plan. For example, a company may call its units Performance Units; use your company’s labels when explaining the plan to employees. Do not treat an example label, value, or allocation as a recommended plan term.

Activate when ready

Select Activate plan only after checking the review screen. Read Activate this plan?, then confirm with Activate plan or select Go back to make corrections. The confirmation explains that country coverage is locked after activation. Contact support for later country changes. Activation does not mean an employee has received a payout. Next, review your plan and participants.
