Prepare the file
- Open the relevant team or retirement page and select Import CSV.
- Select Download template CSV. Use the template from that screen; retirement requires the full set of columns.
- Replace the example rows with your actual recipients. Keep the column names and order. Use the country codes and date format shown in the template.
- Save the file as CSV, with a header and no more than 500 data rows. Split a larger list into smaller files.
Avoid common format errors
Retirement rows require employment start date, nationality, and annualized salary. Keep optional columns in their template positions, even if their values are blank. If your screen supports
payrollSchedule, use the exact active schedule name in the template’s eleventh column; a blank value uses the default schedule.
Avoid commas and line breaks inside names, departments, or other field values. Quoting a value does not make an embedded comma supported. If an accurate value cannot fit the import format, add that person individually or contact support.
Preview and import
- Upload the CSV through the import screen.
- Review the preview, including names, country, roles, and any salary or payroll fields shown.
- Inspect rows with errors. Correct the original file and upload it again when needed.
- Check the number on Import … members. Only valid rows are included.
- Confirm the import and wait for the results.
